Sense of achievement tip

This little gem came from a client. I loved it!

Mainly because it is the opposite of what I do (or did) each week. Also, I find a lot of people do what I do - not what this person does.  I am not sure if this is okay, but coaching clients sometimes means I learn things from them!  I thought I was supposed to be the font of all knowledge!  Obviously not I guess...

Anyway, here is the tip.

At the end of the week, most people (as a result of good time management training) will tidy up their desks, then, they write a list of what needs to be done for the following week.  Sounds good?

My client does the opposite.  She writes a list of everything that she has achieved that week. That way, she goes away for the weekend with a sense of satisfaction rather than frustration at all the things that she didn't achieve.

Apologies if you have heard this one before, but I hadn't. I think it is a corker don't you?

Take care
Paul
