Isn't this scary looking?

Looking at this picture, it is hard to believe it is me...

Not the hair loss or weight gain but the fact that a shy person, as I was, can stand in front of 160 people and feel comfortable! 



It goes to show how valuable training is.  Without training from many other trainers, I would never have had the skills and knowledge to stand in front of others.  It is easy to forget sometimes how important our role is as a trainer. Passing on skills and knowledge in a way that they remember but, just as importantly, not abusing the power our position gives us.

We have the ability to make people's work and personal lives more purposeful and useful by sharing our skills and knowledge with them.  We are very lucky to be trusted with this privilege aren't we?
